New year

This year TTU Football will go 9-2 with a win over OU at home. I just got back from Lubbock this weekend. I had one of those moments in the car. I saw Lubbock in my rearview mirror and my eyes teared up. Lubbock is a out of the way town with very bad water and a funky smell but I can't think of a place with better people. I saw many close friends and some people who didn't even know I had left. Not really, but the funniest thing was that alot of people thought I had been in Chicago for the last two years. Sunday night I had one of those time stops moments. I have these from time to time. You might call them "the light bulb comes on" or as Bobby D says a rush of logic. I can't go into great detail but it has to do with missed chances, a blue eyed dream, a mountain called greek and a "cat on a hot tin roof". One of my all time favorite movies by the way. Have several great days until I write again.
